NFL TV Maps, Week 5

Here’s what games will be on your TV this weekend.

The NFC East will be done for the week after the 1:00 games.

  • Browns at Giants: 1:00, CBS, Greg Gumble and Dan Dierdorf.  Surprisingly, a large part of the country will see this one. This game is far from a gimme for the Giants, in my opinion.
  • Falcons at Redskins: 1:00, FOX, Sam Rosen and John Lynch.  Great matchup, and maybe an overlooked game this weekend.
  • Eagles at Steelers: 1:00, FOX, Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.  #1 FOX team for this one.  If you look at the map, it doesn’t look like it’s getting a ton of eyeballs, but it will be playing in 10 of the 15 most populated cities in America.
  • Cowboys: BYE

This one will be on Sky in the UK, so we won’t be able to watch it live on Gamepass. Bollocks!

Giants and Eagles playing at the same time is kind of annoying. Going to have to do the old 2 TV side by side setup tomorrow.

    No previews/picks this week Jimmy?

    1. Tomorrow morning. I’m going to make the picks its own post from now on, and just point out some random film observations during the week as I see them.

Jimmy, any idea where I can catch the ‘skins on TV in Cozumel?

    1. Cozumel, huh? Poor you, ha.

The NFL is everywhere. I’m sure you can find a bar where they’ll have all the games.

We will know a lot after this weekend. Atlanta is a real test for Washington. I expect they will lose but if they win suddenly they look like a real contender for the East. If the Eagles win especially if they win big suddenly they will look like one of the best in the NFC. The giants have more to lose this weekend, since if they should lose at home to Cleveland (I this this is a real possibility) suddenly their entire season looks uncertain.
