For a fan base that loves pointing to their 5 rings, Cowboys fans are getting fired up to extreme levels about what was a good regular season win, but not exactly some sort of epic game:
I do have to say though… This is some impressive video editing.
H/t to Blogging the Boys.

We know it was one win. We’re not stupid. Nice Journalizing though.

Great Vid ,JPP came in the best pass rusher but D. Ware left the best pass rusher!
Wait, the guy who just became the second fastest player in NFL history to 100 sacks was ever considered to only be the 2nd best in the league?
If the Eagles had 5rings they would point too!
Well it’s kind of their SB, like the preseason NY-NY game for the Jets ^^
Anyway I’m not going to Metlife Stadium ever again. Damn.
why you mad bro?
On that broken play run, why did DeMarco Murray cut that back inside? He had an avenue with my boy Dez as a blocker. He had daylight. He had the score.
Why’d he cut it back inside and let the D catch him?
Ran outta gas
Anyone notice on another run he could have had five more yards or so, but Dez ran into him? Haha, classic.
I think he was anticipating Dez stepping forward to block and was going to scrape behind him. Dez didn’t and Murray blindsided him. That’ll teach him.
Sources?
But seriously, what’s the point? Guess we should spend more time gushing on the dominating d line we stood no chance against instead. Or the dream team we might as well not show up to play.
the first football since February, against the defending super bowl champs that no one expected us to beat, and we can’t get psyched up about it? I’ll be expecting an ensuing article telling eagles fans to put a damper on their optimism before even playing a game.
Yeah, but… That thing is like a commercial for a movie with a $200 million budget.
maybe it was a college project…..good excuse right
^^^^this^^^^
I wish all highlights were like this
The reason so many Cowboys fans are so fired up is pretty simple:
http://www.bloggingtheboys.com/2012/9/7/3301449/week-1-predictions-how-the-experts-predicted-cowboys-giants
After getting crapped on quite a bit prior to the game, and getting talked about as though they were incredibly inferior to the Giants (what was it you predicted? A 14-point win, then a 10-point Giants win?) the team went out and played a good game. Everybody spent the whole week saying things like “Oh…maybe they’ll keep it close”.
Think the ridiculous amount of overzealousness can be attributed to the game being played on a wed…(who the hell thought of this?!) There’s literally nothing else to talk about for Cowboys or Giants fans. I’m not even THAT amped about the win(Boys were 7-4 at one point last year), and I keep revisiting it because it’s the only taste of real football. It’s like the taste of football slowed the week down.
And yes…like Stacey said…a lot of it has to do with literally everybody saying they’d lose. Everybody. EVERYBODY! Nobody gave them even half a chance to beat the SB Champs.
A normal week we’d have moved on to the next opponent, read practice reports, gone over all of our fantasy changes/lineups.
I never want the Boys to play on a wednesday again…ever.
Better hope that Cowboys O-line can withstand the Eagles pass-rush rotation…
You just worry about the Browns.
Why bother?
they beat the Giants, who most would say is better than the Eagles’. Its comparable; the eagles have a ton of depth, but so do the Giants. The Cowboy’s O-Line will only get better as they have not played together at all. Ryan Cook looks much better than Costa. Demarco Murray will run through, over and around the Eagles’ defense. Why talk trash about Claiborne (Jimmy) when the Eagles’ have very poor tacklers in their secondary. Dallas now has the best Defense in the division. They still have Ratliff and Jenkins coming back (previous pro bowlers) to lend a helping hand as well. Please recognize a good effort by the boys better than one sentence. They have many things that will worry teams and a ton of things to game plan for. Tony Romo may be All-Pro this year.
The Oline is only gonna improve from here. better hope Glass Jaw Vick can take some hits cuz you skinny Azzz receivers are gonna be struggling to get off the line in press coverage all day? Btw-who’s your Left tackle this week? Mr. Ware wants to know who’s lunch he will be taking. Get ready Never won anything Philly – cuz we are coming!!! Nick Foles should star warming up.
Dude, it hasn’t been an easy couple of years. This win was the biggest Cowboys win since 2009 when we defeated the 13-0 New Orleans Saints in their own house.
Not to mention literally nobody (yourself included) picked us.

It’s not often the Cowboys are looked at as underdogs in ways only the Cleveland Browns are. And the team answered its critics in the most definitive way possible.
Awesome win!
when you win we will see how crazy you guys are. its more that most everyone said Dallas wouldnt win
lol someone is a little overzealous.
I now feel like the Cowboys should play home games here… (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/6/6a/Mordor.png/300px-Mordor.png) Maybe it was the music, but it made them seem really evil, lol
LOL. Well, I guess it’s one for them to enjoy.
