Garrett Reid, son of Eagles head coach Andy Reid, dies

Garrett Reid was found dead this morning in his dorm room at Lehigh University.  Unsuccessful attempts were made to revive Reid.  He had been helping with the team this offseason, assisting strength and conditioning coaches.  The news was announced by Eagles general manager Howie Roseman, who fought back tears.  Eagles players said a collective prayer on a side field this morning before practice, a couple hours before the news was revealed to the media.  There will be an investigation, but as of right now, according to Lehigh University Police Chief Ed Schupp, there didn’t appear to be suspicious activity.

At this time, it is unknown when Andy Reid will return to coach the team.  Offensive and defensive coordinators Marty Mornhinweg and Juan Castillo will oversee the team in Reid’s absence.  Prayers go out to Andy Reid and his family.

    ANY PARENT

That loses a child is so sad.
Their loss will be felt by all of us , but in no way could we feel as they do at this time.
Time will heal , and assuredly the Good Lord will help them in this process.
    RIP Garrett.

Still, sorry for the Reids, nobody should have to burry their child.
