  16. […] Here is Bryant’s updated resume.  Management material. […]

  17. Free Plax says:

Not that I mind a laugh at Dez’s expense but considering that every team has a knuckle head or two is it really that good of an idea to mock a guy for getting into trouble when we only know half the story.

    1. ATLeagle says:

I would agree with this if there was no history. For Peterson we need to let the facts settle, as he doesnt seem to be in trouble on such a regular basis. For Dez, he has provided enough bad situations for Jimmy to make a resume out of the bad decisions. We may only know half of the story this time, but the consistent story is that this guy cant avoid bad publicity.

      1. slandog says:

I agree, the guy is immature and until he grows up this stuff will continue to haunt him.

      2. Free Plax says:

I’m with you 50% but the fact that his mother smokes crack makes me wonder if it was really her that caused the problems. Crack head family members can really cause a lot of trouble in a family.

  18. ct17 says:

The more famous you are or your team is, the more attention your indisgressions get. Dumervil basically threatened someone with a gun. Seems to me that would be more serious than Plax shooting himself, but they are already talking about dropping charges. There’s a higher tolerance for criminal athletes in Miami, they deal with so many of them.

    1. Free Plax says:

Lucky for Dumervil he was not in NYC King Bloomberg would have put him under the jail!

      1. TheRealMcCoy says:

That would only happen if he was also sipping a Pepsi at the same time.

    2. SkinsaneAsylum says:

Plax’s gun discharged, which makes it inherently worse of a crime than possessing a firearm.

      1. Free Plax says:

So an accidental weapons discharge is worse than threatening someone with a weapon? Not quite there with you on that.

  19. ATLeagle says:

He must have been pissed off that he didnt make Freeman’s list of jerks.

  20. Dez Bryant's Probation Officer says:

God Bless Dez. He’s good for business.

  21. Frank says:

You can get arrested for pushing a prostitute?

    1. Scott says:

Only if your clothes are still on

  22. Hello
Wonderful! Can I merely say what a relief to uncover someone who essentially knows what they’re speaking about on the internet?

    1. DerfDiggy says:

You’re definitely right Misses Bot…..JimmyK knows his stuff.

    2. NYG_slater says:

what a lovely thing to say about jimmyk….oh and those bedroom design ideas are great! thanks for sharing.

  23. brisulph says:

I can’t believe he put that on his resume… seems like it would make him look worse than better, the usual goal of a resume.

    1. He’s taking a different approach, like George Costanza when he interviewed with the Yankees.

      1. brisulph says:

Makes sense, George even knows how to deal with Texans, just like Dez!

  24. DerfDiggy says:

Arrests only make the news when it’s America’s team….barely a mention when it’s any of the other dozen and a half.

Want to know why there’s a hole in Cowboys Stadium………

    🙂

    1. Vince says:

Come on. Every team gets their dirty laundry aired out in the open, not just the Cowboys.

      1. DerfDiggy says:

Do they? Dez is an idiot…who continually finds trouble, even if it’s not of the legal kind(until this weekend).

There’s been a dozen and a half arrests or more since the end of the season.

Think David Diehl getting a DWI last month got as much sportscenter time as Dez sagging his pants?(or the attention this newest infraction will garner) If you do…I have beachfront property in Idaho to sell you. Double edged sword for the 3rd most valuable sports team in the world.;)

I’m not complaining at all…Attention allows for more coverage during the season. Love the prime time games year after year…even if the Boys find a way to lose in great fashion.

        1. Dez is a high profile player with a boatload of negative incidents. Diehl is an offensive lineman (and not a very good one) with one career offense. If Doug Free got a DUI, for example, coverage would be similar to Diehl.

          1. DerfDiggy says:

Well I’ll concede that this is a “major” offense for dez. Being arrested should garner the news.

My point was moreso that even the “minor” infractions garnered ridiculous amounts of coverage, maily because it was the Cowboys. We’ll agree to disagree about Doug Free vs. David Diehl. I think the coverage would still be greater for Free….For other reasons(mainly being that the Giants just won a SB), but we’d hear all about how there’s no leadership in the locker room, Jerry handing out contracts to “bad” guys, etc, etc.

            1. slandog says:

Dez also makes everything about him. He wants the limelight. So he’s going to get it for good news and bad news. The problem with him is that he’s so stupid he gives more bad news then good news.

              1. DerfDiggy says:

I’ve never got the impression that Dez wanted the limelight. He actually seems the opposite in the public. He gets pretty fired up on the field, but I don’t think that’s anything than competition fueling him.

He’s not TO in any aspect, that’s good and bad, TO never got in trouble with the law, but it was about him at all times. Dez seems to continually put himself in dumb situations when he should know better, but again…I never got the impression that he’s a “Diva”, or selfish or wanted everything about him.

That’s not even a “defense” of Dez….just more or less an observation.

              2. slandog says:

Well he may not be a Diva, but HE puts himself in these situations on his own. If he didn’t want this kind of attention he’d act like more of an adult……good god pull your pants up, pay some of your bills, etc. It’s something every other human can seem to do.

              3. DerfDiggy says:

Well, I’ll agree with that to an extent. I think that’s two different things you’re describing.

One’s a maturity level….the other is conceded, me-first attitude. They aren’t necessarily mutually exclusive.

    2. rage114 says:

Before I read this story, I first read stories on Dumervill and Lynch getting arrested.

If Bryant is getting more attention, it is because it is like watching a train wreck, not because he is on the Cowboys.

Now, PERSONALLY, it is more entertaining for ME that he is on the Cowboys but my personal entertainment is not the reason he is getting the attention.

      1. DerfDiggy says:

        From where? PFT’s arrest tracker?

Was it on sportscenter/NFL network/Nationwide coverage?

The closest I’ve seen to any attention being brought to arrests is that the Lions are now a young “bad boy” team, and it’ll affect them during the season.

        1. rage114 says:

          Online my friend.

Are there people who still watch Sportscenter or the NFL Network to get actual news?

          That is so 2002.

          1. DerfDiggy says:

I think you missed the point of my initial post. I never said this news wasn’t readily available. Re-read, sir.

        2. slandog says:

I’ve seen it all over, including ESPN bottom line. Open your eyes punk

    3. Dez Bryant's Probation Officer says:

There’s more than one a-hole in Cowboys’ Stadium.

      1. DerfDiggy says:

        Lmao…that’s pretty good.

  25. P.S. the his brotha stole the money & the mother got in the way but real talk we wanna cover up momz alwayz.

    1. DerfDiggy says:

Bringing down JimmyK’s “knowledgeable posters” ranking…one post at a time.

  26. Cowboys AKA America”s team 1.85 billion ,still the most vaued team in Football& the most popular team haters gone hate but love is always better,P.S Dez mother stole money & threaten Dez that she would go go to the cop with false info.

    1. slandog says:

So that’s an excuse to push/hit your mother?
