How Dallas might attack the Eagles’ wide 9 in the run game

In the first matchup between Dallas and Philly, the Eagles scored on their opening drive.  And then again.  And then again.  And then they kicked a FG.  It was 24-0 at the half, with Philly controlling time of possession for more than 20 minutes.  DeMarco Murray carried the ball for 74 yards in the game, but it was on just 8 carries, as the Cowboys were forced to play catch-up the entire night.

Assuming Philly doesn’t blow Dallas out of the water from the opening kick like they did back in October, the Eagles can expect to see more of the Cowboys’ run game this time around.  With that in mind, Rafael Vela of Cowboys Nation does an excellent job showing how Jason Garrett may look to attack the Eagles’ wide 9 in the run game.  Definitely worth the read.
