Antrel Rolle would have “wiped (DeSean Jackson’s) ass out”

We just got completely bullied by you, but, you know, we're better than you. At the end of the day.

Antrel Rolle sure is tough on Tuesday.  Some quotables from his weekly show with Joe and Evan on WFAN:

The truth of the matter is that team is a good team, and I respect the Eagles. You know, I respect them for what they are, and the time they have, and the coaching and the whole organization and the staff.  But at the end of the day, do they compare to us?  Maybe.  Are they better than us?  Not at all.

I saw the cheap shot on Eli Manning, which like I said before and it took everything in me to stay on my feet, because I know how I am at the end of the day. And I know how sometimes I let my emotions get the better part of me. So, you know, I think it was a smart thing for me to stay on my feet.  Now for the guys that were on the field with Eli Manning, you know, I can’t speak for them.  I would never wish or tell my teammates or you know, even hope that they act out of context or do anything stupid that would get them thrown out of the game, or do anything that may be costly to the team. But at the end of the day there’s a way of you getting your point across between those white lines, if you understand what I’m saying. There’s ins and outs of a way for you to get your point across to let them know, you, there’s no punks on this team. You know, you not gonna cheap shot my quarterback and think you gonna get away with it, at the end of the day. You know, and I like DeSean Jackson. You know, DeSean Jackson is my boy.  But had I known that he did what he did during that game, I would have did everything in my power to wipe his ass out.  Without a doubt.

At the end of the day, when you see that number 26 jersey on there on the football field, he’s gonna give you all that he’s got. I’m not gonna always be right, and I’m not gonna always be perfect, but I’m give you everything I got, and you better believe that dawg is gonna be there every Sunday.

Let’s call it how it is.  The Giants are 6-4, and the Eagles are 4-6.  While the Giants hold a major edge in the standings, the Eagles physically abused the Giants Sunday night, and beat them with an injury-decimated team.  They’ve won 7 of the last 8 contests vs the Giants.  They own the Giants.  Antrel Rolle just comes off as comical here.

    My English not so good…

Giant want to wipe ass of DeSean? This is sign of respect and servitude, no?

  12. Hey there! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site? I’m getting tired of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

The eagles lost 5 games this year where they play really good football the D has been dominant at times but besides the cowboy game the offense has been horrible expectley in the 4 th they don’t put any points up. So I think the d is fine. There like 12 overall and that’s pretty good for a first year dc with no off season. We can put four quarter’s together we would be at least 6-3 maybe better. But we can’t lise anymore

  14. ICDogg says:

What does that even mean? Wipe his ass out? I’m picturing him with the toilet paper wiping his ass until it bleeds.

  15. amoore42 says:

Did Rolle just say there are no punks on that team? Has he met Brandon Jacobs? He’s the biggest punk in the league. All he does is chirp and talk off the field and all he does on the field is rush for 1.9 yards per carry. What a chump!

    1. Tracer Bullet says:

He’s not the biggest punk in the league so long as Osi has a job.

  16. TruBlu JRB says:

Did you see the game Sparki. Your boy DeSean needs to get hit real hard in the head. Cause he’s just the dumbest ball player I know. Him tossing the ball at the Giants DC after his 50 yard catch and taunting was so stupid and disrepectful.

I don’t think anyone who is not an Eagels fan likes him. He acts like such a punk. I loved it when he got laid out last year with a concussion. You thought that would teach him. I’m hoping it happens again. He’s too light in the pants to be acting the way he does.

    1. packimop says:

Real cool dude – celebrating concussions. Yeah DeSean deserves brain damage because he’s cocky. You immediately lose all credibility and look like a complete dick as soon as you say something like that.

  17. Bill Bergey says:

I know what he’s talking about with DJax, it was obviously the taunting incident, but what’s he going on about with a cheap shot on Manning? I don’t remember any cheap shot on Manning.

  18. sparki says:

“But had I known that he did what he did during that game”… What did DeSean do during the game that Rolle wanted to wipe his ass for?

  19. packimop says:

At the end of the day, Rolle is making himself feel really tough with these comments. I mean, you know that he’s going to talk shit at the end of the day, and at the end of the day that’s all that really matters. We’ll see where the Giants are in the standings at the end of the day. How much garbage is going to come out of Rolle’s mouth at the end of the day when he’s with the Giants? First he hates his coach, and now at the end of the day I guess he likes them. At the end of the day, the guy just comes off as a complete moron at the end of the day.

    Did I do that right?

The Giants have been saying they’re better than the Eagles for quite some time now… Yet they are 1-7 against us lol.

The Eagles just outplayed the Giants straight up. The Eagles have talent. They just haven’t put it together. But the capability to beat anyone is there. It’s not likek the Colts where the ability to beat a top team isn’t there, hell, to beat anyone isn’t really there.

We could’ve made arguments that the week 3 game the better , more talented team lost. Fact was the Giants out coached us, and played better football….

    1. brisulph says:

saying the more talented team lost… makes you sound like a Pats fan. You are better than that, aren’t you?

      1. Joe D says:

What do you mean by that? Fans say that all the time. According to Rolle, the Giants are the more talented team. Giants fans last year told me they were better than the Eagles despite the two losses. They said the Giants beat themselves. I get what you’re saying though, bri.

On the roster, I would say yes, Eagles have more talent to work with right now. TT is on IR, Tuck is injured, and as I personally predicted the Giants O-line aged…Obviously, paper doesn’t mean anything as I am WELL aware of (I have had my week ruined 6 times already halfway thru the season. Giants have OVER achieved, eagles have UNDER…that doesn’t mean the unders have less talent though

        1. brisulph says:

Fans that say that the better/more talented team lost (my brethren included) sound obnoxiously stupid when they say it. The better team wins the game, even if they are only better in that one game, they are the better tea when it matters (like the Eagles on Sunday).

  22. KD says:

    The real question here is…

what do you think of Nnamdi’s performance on Sunday night? 😀

      1. KD says:

LOL – much love to ya Jimmy. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your fam

  23. Tracer Bullet says:

Wait, weren’t Rolle and Jackson on the same field for more than three hours Sunday? Wasn’t he provided with AMPLE opportunity to register his displeasure? He had two tackles, according to, neither of which I remember. Eugene Eugeep here had his chance. He doesn’t get to talk about some shit he “woulda did” two days after the fact.

    1. He’s “Tuesday tough.”

  24. GiantsFan says:

let’s not forget the giants put an injury-decimated team on the field as well. I’m biased but I agree with Antrel Rolle on this….

    1. There’s certainly an argument to be made that the Giants are better than the Eagles. Just look at the standings. But the timing of him saying so is silly.

    2. slandog says:

But what positions were you missing? We were missing our starting QB, starting WR, a rotational DE (Graham) and a rotational CB (DRC). Those are positions that the Eagles weight heavily on especially the QB and WR position. Bradshaw I can see you’re really missed, but lets be honest the Giants haven’t really ran the ball well all season.

And record, sure you have a better record, but up until the last few weeks the Giants really haven’t played anyone, they had a soft schedule. Now when they finally get some competition they are getting pushed around and bullied.

So I’d have to say the Giants aren’t really better at all. They’ve have a better record, but are 1-1 against the Eagles this year and 1-7 against them that past what 3 years I think (one lose was in the playoffs as well)? So better team is still a pretty big reach.

      1. sv1031 says:

RB, FB, MLB, OLB, CB, Tuck playing like crap.

        1. Joe D says:

          yeah let’s not forget

Giants came into the season heavily injured

          1. Dunta Is A PUNK says:

Excuses are like fat chicks. Everyones got one.

            1. packimop says:

              ummm… what?

        2. slandog says:

Tuck playing like crap doesn’t go into the equation. If he’s playing like crap that is his fault.

          1. giants fan says:

            he’s injured, but sure.
