Glazer: Trent Cole has “Grade 2” calf strain, will likely only miss 3 weeks.

There are fears Trent Cole is done for the year but I'm hearing an MRI showed a Grade 2 calf strain, which prob puts him out 3 weeks.
Jay Glazer

If Glazer’s report is accurate, that’s an enormous sigh of relief for Eagles fans, as Trent Cole has arguably been the Eagles’ best player this season.

Trent Williams wins here though, as he’ll likely not have to face Cole when the Redskins return from their bye in 2 weeks. The disappointing Doug Free, however, may not be so lucky Week 8 when the Eagles host the Cowboys in Philly.

Hope he gets well… he may be an Eagle, but dude can straight up play. Love watching great players do their thing.

Thinking “not so much” on this thinking (experimenting on formatting)

Williams did well against Ware, to the point that ware made his impacts when away from Williams. Williams will most likely “fail” against Cole’s replacement when he would have done well against Cole IMO

  8. says:

Can’t wait to see how horrid this defense is without our best player. Still “good” news though.
