Good read on the rookie WR.
Oof, tough grading here – 1 C+, 2 C’s, 6 F’s, and an Incomplete.
Lots of guys in Heyer’s position like Doug Free, Stewart Bradley, Barry Cofield, etc. It must be annoying just waiting in limbo while others make decisions on your future.
(News on the Eagles, Giants, and Cowboys after the jump)…
Of course you haven’t, Big Red. Obviously, with so much going on in the NFL right now, there’s no time for talking about the upcoming free agency period.
Nate thinks he’ll be ready for camp (if there is one).
I think Marcus gets paid by the word.
When the doors reopen we’ll have a plan that we’ll attempt to implement. I think Andy [Reid] has spoken about the fact that while we were allowed to, there were a number of teams that expressed interest in Kevin. When the opportunity presents itself we’ll have to get back together with those teams and see if they’re still interested, and if so what they would do, and in the end make a decision that for the Eagles and for Kevin makes the most sense.
They got 39 on Tuesday, 36 yesterday.
I always felt that Hixon’s injury last season was a major blow. Apparently, he’s looks good so far.
Mike’s observations from pseudo-camp.
Seriously… How freaking hard is it to hang out for 10 minutes after practice to answer some questions? Obviously, people care enough about what you’re doing to show up and cover a boring practice in 95 degree heat, and fans eat this s— up. 10 minutes – That’s it. Sheesh.
I would have put this under the Eagles, but in my news feeds, this story was like 4x more prevalent in the Giants’ coverage.
I’m bullish on Murray too, but let’s chill out a little on that one.
I don’t like this option for the Cowboys. He’s already 30 and is accustomed to making a ton of money. There are likely to be better options at RG if they want to rid themselves of Leonard Davis’ $6 million contract in 2011.
The Cowboys currently have zero NFL caliber safeties under contract.
Cowboys draft pick: Tyron Smith – Calvin Watkins, ESPN Dallas
Interview with Smith’s OL coach at USC… and so ends a very linkable series 🙁
